UCDC Clogging Teams are performing/competitive groups that are put together via our audition process. The UCDC Clogging Competition Program is dedicated to nurturing yours child’s character, teaching self-discipline, building and developing team players, and most importantly instilling confidence in your child. There are currently 10 competition-clogging teams, all comprised of different ages and levels based on clogging experience. Below you will find a summary of teams, along with hours of class time each week. This is not a reflection of extra rehearsals, competitions, or choreography.
The UCDC clogging teams also participate in CCA Competitions, CCA Nationals, workshops, technique classes, various local performances, pageants, charity events, and are also involved in community service projects throughout the upstate.
Tiny Tots (Ages 6-8) – 1 hour of class per week (1 day a week)
Sassy Stars Amateur: (Ages 9-11) – 1 hour of class per week (1 day a week)
Shooting Stars Amateur: (Ages 11-13) – 1 hour of class per week (1 day a week)
Shining Stars Challenge: (Ages 12-15) – 1.5 hours of class per week (1 day a week)
Elite Stars: (Ages 13-18) – 3-4 hours of class per week (2 days a week)
