UCDC Jazz Companies are performing/competitive groups that are put together via our audition process. These dancers train in Ballet, Jazz, Pointe, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Acrobatics & Hip Hop. The UCDC Jazz Program is dedicated to nurturing your child’s character, teaching self-discipline, building and developing team players, and most importantly instilling confidence in your child. UCDC’s Jazz Companies include Itty Bittys, Minis, Petites, Juniors, Teens, & Seniors  These teams range in age from 5-18 and are different in levels and commitment.

Below you will find a summary of hours each company attends class each week. This is not a reflection of extra rehearsals, competitions, choreography or conventions.

The Jazz Company also participates in competitions, conventions, master classes, various local performances, pageants, charity events and are also involved in community service projects throughout the upstate.

Itty Bittys: (Age 5) – 2.5 hours of class per week (1 day a week)

Minis: (Ages 5-6) – 3 hours of class per week (2 days a week)

Petites: (Ages 7-9) – 5-6 hours of class per week (2 days a week)

Juniors: (Ages 8-10) – 5-6 hours of class per week (3 days a week)

PreTeens: (Ages 11-12) – 8-11 hours of class per week (3 days a week)

Seniors: (Ages 13-18) – 11 hours of class per week (3 days a week)
